As our reputation for delivering exceptional outdoor spaces continues to grow, Unique Projects is looking for skilled and reliable Groundworkers to join our team.

From streambank stabilisation and sub-base prep to drainage, foundations and paving, this is a hands-on role at the core of everything we do.  You'll play a key part in delivering high quality residential and commercial landscape schemes as part of a team that values quality, precision, and craft.

The Role

You’ll work as part of a skilled crew, preparing and constructing the foundations of outdoor schemes across the South, from coastal terraces in Cornwall to luxury developments in the Cotswolds.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Groundworks including excavation, drainage, levels, and sub-base prep
• Concrete pours, edging, retaining structures and slab laying
• Ground modelling/shaping and forms of SUDs and water features
• Installing soakaways, ducting, or services where required
• Working from site drawings, plans and setting-out guides
• Supporting site teams with deliveries, material handling, and coordination
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised site
• Collaborating with other team members such as carpenters, landscapers and project managers to deliver results on time
  

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in groundworks or external landscaping
• Ability to work to levels and interpret site plans
• Competent with machinery and tools (plant tickets a bonus)
• Comfortable working in a variety of site environments
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
• CSCS card preferred
• Driving licence and own transport ideal
